The Glacier Symphony(GSC) has been providing concerts in the Northwest Montana for 39 years. As one of seven Symphonic orchestras in Montana, GSC provides the most concerts annually than of the other six Symphony's in Montana. During GSC's 40th season, The Symphony will change its performance venue to McClaren Hall, a new state-of-the-art 1,000 seat venue currently being constructed on the campus of the Flathead Valley Community College.

This new performance venue will allow for expanded guest artists and requires an additional $100,000 in new funding. GSC currently spends $25,000 in guest artists fees annually. The new venue will permit engaging opera and ballet companies to perform with GSC as well as other international guests artists.
